HarveyMushman yeah. as with other businesses, you have to be either very talented, or very lucky, or, work very hard, or usually, all of them, to become very successful. No one will be liked by everybody and I can understand if someone don’t like/hate James, but let’s admit it, he is talented (World Barista Championship is nothing to sneeze at), is gifted with his soothing voice, and I can be sure he worked very hard to be where he is today.
Less talented and gifted Youtubers usually have to find a way to “cheat” the system (clickbait title or thumbnail, controversial opinions which spark debate etc.) to gain viewership, if they want to earn enough money. which is both bad and sad.
