Overall, it was a machine with great value for money for me. I could not have done better at that price point. However they should source their steam valve components from a more reliable supplier.
And if it doesn’t unduly affect their price point, they could improve the design of afew things, including the OPV to make it more easily accessible and adjustable. And improve the design of the steam knob compression fitting, which unless you have the touch of a butterfly, will begin leak. And the design of the top access panel; removing and reinstalling it was a pain.
So great VFM, but (hindsight being 20/20) I would have waited and saved for a Bianca.
Bottom line. It is a well designed, consumer priced machine. Which means that some parts will (by definition) not be as well made as they could be. They also could do better in their quality control testing. You get what you pay for.
Btw, it does hold its resale value, as I was able to resell it for about half of the cost of the gently used Decent I subsequently bought.
