I can never tell them apart, let alone jellied snakes vs jelly snakes. Haha 🤣

Very nice Adrian. Roasted on 10 Aug. Arrived thru’ Sigma Coffee the day before. Very nice 3 weeks rest on arrival. Lightly roasted. 😊

Foundry, Kenya, Karimikui AA, washed SL14, SL28 - After a couple of disappointing bags from other roasters, this coffee was a welcome experience & sanity check. Very reasonable too at £5.40/100g.

Juicy acidity and balanced for a Kenyan, I gave it a 4.2/ 5.0 overall subjective taste score.

All brewed as drip/pour over.

Whilst I mainly order all my beans from Django these days, I have just finished my second bean from Potterbeans in Cornwall.

I was originally sceptical, but they are delicious and have a really interesting flavour to them.

I had a Yirgacheffe and a Guatemala Maya - I really enjoyed both of them. The tasting notes were accurate, but there did seem to be an influence on the flavour from the wood fired roaster - in a good way.

They also sell some wonderful espresso cups which is a bonus!

Dak’s Colombia Panetonne, Cattura, Orange-Spices Honey process co-ferment.

It made a lovely sweet filter with notes of Orange and Cardamom. The Orange acidity was prominent throughout the cup scoring 8/9. I reckon this will make a great espresso and a flat white.

I am also drinking two Colombian coffee from Spaceboy.
