Hopefully, I will reveal all today. I genuinely did not think about this topic as I did not want it to influence my thoughts. But yesterday, after Alex departed I started to mull it over. I looked in the usual places for the usual things. I contacted a few people on Ebay but gone are the days of auctions to be replaced by Buy it nows at often stupid prices. Then I stumbled on someone not too far away from me on Facebook Marketplace. When using this to try and suss out if they are genuine or scammers I ask loads of questions that require a bit of thought in the answer.
He answered everything, then we got chatting about coffee and he told me all about his setup and the problems of owning a Gaggia Classic. HE then said that he had bought the grinder from a close friend who in turn had bought it brand new for his business and never used it. He sent me additional photos and I explained how to get into the programming system and he sent me the shot count……single dose 1, double dose 12, triple dose zero……I have just paid for it and once I get the courier info later on, will reveal all!
