Hedrick is an arse who makes his living from gushing nonsense to people who actually believe what he says. He missed loads of salient points out. In essence, there are two buttons. Button one injects water onto the puck for 3 seconds. It then pre-infuses for 6 seconds before the shot begins to pull. Both of those times (staying within 9 seconds though) are programmable. Button two is the other way round. I forget the times now as I never use it but it puts water onto the puck for a longer period and blooms before pulling the shot. I think it lasts 13 seconds and you can adjust. I do not know anyone who bothers to play with these.
