We have the Lubluelu as well. I am not sure which model but it draws a map and lets you decide whether to clean the whole house or just a specific area. It also ‘washes’ hard floor areas

Seems about right. Ours are sl60d and the newest addition is l15 which seems to have stronger suction but is a bit bigger yet it was the cheapest

As with any modern electrical item, I always think there’s a sweet spot of slightly above the bargain basement stuff to get the necessary bells and whistles but not into silly territory where you have to spend triple to get not much extra. It’s likely to last just as long (or short) regardless of the model.

You do realise that they are illegal to operate without a Dalek on top.
It can be small and made from a takeaway coffee cup or larger if your machine doesn’t need to work under tables etc.

you cant really use these if you have a cat as they either form a fun vehicle to attack/ride around on, or, if there is a stray poop, long brown streaks on the floor. Similar if the cat vomits for any reason.

DavecUK They are trained to avoid obstructions….mine allows me to clean either the whole house or room by room. I live in an outback called Northumberland and unlike you Surrey residents I can see the length and breadth of my rooms without binoculars……LOL

So far I’m fairly impressed, it does a good enough job to mean I don’t need to often get the proper vacuum out so saves me a lot of time

Agree, they should not replace but are a good compliment…..I am glad ours was a present as I would not know where to start in trying to decide on which one to buy!

With our nearly completed renos our floors are almost all on the same level.
The Studmistress has finally bought a robot vacuum cleaner and absolutely loves it.
We have large areas of timber floorboards and two dogs who shed a lot of hair.
It is a Roborok Saros 10 with (allegedly) the strongest suction and the ability to wash the floor as well as vacuum.
I am amazed at how “Rocky” manages to get into all the nooks, corners and crannies.

Amberale The more I use mine the more I like it! Ours was a gift at the budget end of things, so I can only imagine how robots like the Eufy one at 12 x the price must work!
