Lets kick off with some beautiful measuring equipment and it's even coffee related for some projects I'm doing. Micrometer (1 micron), depth gauge (1 micron) and calipers (10 micron). A pleasure to use, especially the callipers as my other set are Mitutoyo, but 60 years old (my dads) and in thou. a Silver 500g Airscape so I can keep my wifes DeCaf beans in instead of trying to make sure a get all the air out of the Coffee bags the beans come in, a Black Airscape for me so they will not get mixed up

A member in CFUK used to make them. They are (were) really well made. He then moved to a shop in Etsy, but I can’t recall the name of his shop. His user was joey24dirt or something like that.

Looks great! In reality, a setup like yours would solve many problems for me: compact size, fast heat up time and all sorts of profiles and possibilities at the tip of your fingers.

I’m jealous. 😊

Are you intending to upgrade the grinder too at some point? If so, what’s in your mind?

MediumRoastSteam I just acquired the niche as well. But I went all around the houses looking at grinders. I decided that for the time being, I prefer a conical so that narrowed the field somewhat. The Key was considered but ultimately, I was not convinced that the considerable extra expense would give me much more than the niche. It’s also so easy to live with and use (and colour matches the Decent perfectly)
