Raja123 Raja123 Roasted my first 60g batch of this. Hit FC a bit quicker than I anticipated, so not as developed as Iād aim for typically, but, itās quite an exceptional cup. Will tune the times a bit and see what more can be had. If you donāt mind modern processing and highish prices, itās worth checking out some of the Wilton Benitez stuff.
Elcarajillo Adrianmsmith , @Cuprajake . Have you tried this yet ? I have tried it as flat white, I found it a little bland for me with quite a strong stone fruit taste.

Ive alao lowered the dose to 19.5g in the acs 32 basket whilst experimenting with the puck screen that had remained in the acs box until this week!! @DavecUK to thank for that suggestion āš«£
ST30B Adrianmsmith @Elcarajillo Glad youāre loving it enough to order another kilo. Thatās the enthusiasm I had for last yrs batch but this yrs is not quite the same for me for some reason. Slightly darker this year. I lived it as filter/flat white last yr. Not one for descriptions it was just a tremendous cup! Iām enjoying the Nicaraguan one more so tbh. Great value, Black Cat!
Adrianmsmith ST30B Ah, the Nicaraguan isnt my cup of tea āš¤ Wont reorder that one. Not ābadā just not really for me. Were never all going to like the sameā¦.. I too have difficulty describing taste. Need to find a tasting course.
ST30B Adrianmsmith The Nicaraguan was ideal in the aeropress for me and nice for an occasional flat white with the fruit profile. I am actually going to order more of the Costa Rican as itās actually improved during rest time. I think it was just my initial comparison to last years that influenced my reaction. Just slightly lighter would be ideal for me in a flat white.

InfamousTuba A couple of bags of coffee from scenery to try, the Kenya is about the same colour as Wendelboe and the Ethiopia is lighter than that. Still a bit fresh to tuck into so will wait maybe until friday
MWJB Systemic If itās anything like the Fellow version, always have the brewer on a good fitting cup/carafe, rather than a brew stand. The stream can wander a bit & miss the cup.

Systemic Just tried it out. Used same grind level I use for normal cap. Thought it would be harder to press down but it wasnāt. So far so good.
