Petre Otaibimn love your setup. How’s P100? It’s a grinder that ppl don’t talk a lot but looks great on specs. I was gravitating on buying one too (I still am).
BigTTony Just got a dosing funnel for my bianca pf. It cost £9.79 from Amazon and its absolutely spot on. It fits perfectly, well built (aluminium) and the magnets are strong enough to hold it in place upside down. It also happens to store nicely away on top of my pressure mat with my Torr tamp on top. Bargain.
BigTTony No worries, here you go https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B08RDXDSK1?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
Gav86 BigTTony thanks for the link. I’m in the look out of a funnel. How does the lip impact the Puck prep as it looks like it sits inside the basket? Any chance of a photo of the portafilter after wdt / before tamp?
BigTTony Gav86 the lip does indeed sit inside the basket, but only by a smidge. I’ll do a photo in the morning (fingers crossed I remember)
BigTTony Gav86 here you go. First photo is postgribd but before WDT. Second is post WDT and third is same as the second but with the funnel removed. In my opinion it worked perfectly
Alexvs These arrived today to tidy up my coffee corner. Was hoping they’d be more transparent as was described as semi-transparent but happy and most of all the wife is happy I’m being tidy haha. Not bad for £8.95 each and the seller is local which I found out from my confirmation so may look at some other bits.
simonc A very big box for a wire and a small hose. A mk2 water level sensor for Minima to replace the spring base that didn’t work.
PortafilterProcrastinator A few of these landing today no doubt. Now just to decide which to open first!
dutchy101 DavecUK Looks like it. That’s my first order from Django but had a valveless kilo bag from Extract a few weeks ago too. Much better for the environment - had no idea it’s better for freshness too. Win win if so.
DavecUK Lawman Bags are valveless It’s good that some roasters are doing this now. I have been packing in valveless bags for over 7 years. Much better for coffee freshness.
dutchy101 DavecUK Makes you wonder why they’ve been doing it all these years - if it’s purely for reasons of perceived freshness then that’s completely insane
