Patrick The Nurri GTO, a small pressure profiling dual boiler with vibration pump. This is a very early prototype pending improvements. It’s a nice little machine, quiet pump and produces a great shot. It arrived 3 weeks ago, but I only unboxed it a few days ago.
Meldrew dfk41 I had a Mac Pro some years ago and I am using a IPad at the moment. It hopefully won’t be to bad but the grey matter is a lot slower nowadays. And my memory is terrible nowadays. I have looked at a couple of items on YouTube which jogged the memory. Google and YouTube are both so helpful,makes you wonder how we managed before.

Installation was a breeze and just ran the initial virus scan…..you will need an AV of some sort!
Meldrew dfk41 I have always used Norton other than on one occasion when I tried Kaspersky and had issues so went straight back to Norton. What was you using before and how does Bitdender compare.
MediumRoastSteam You don’t need an Anti Virus with Mac, or a I’ve been extremely lucky for the past 16 years. 😉 Even with Windows these days, the built in solution (Windows Defender or Windows Security or whatever it’s is called) does the trick.
LMSC Meldrew My windows on Customised firewall rules on windows 10 Pro along with Windows defender. It works well and haven’t had any issues for a long time. Touch wood! Installed Little Snitch https://www.obdev.at/products/littlesnitch/order.html and BitDefender AV plus on my daughter’s mac pro laptop. You may consider either these combo or BitDefender Total Security, which is fantastic!
LMSC MediumRoastSteam Anti Virus with Mac Touch wood, you are lucky. 😊 The mac is as vulnerable as windows these days. Have had a number of cases in my friends circle and my daughter’s! +1 for built-in defender.

Meldrew From what I have read the Mac is vulnerable to malware and does need protection. Even Apple admit to this. I see that Curry’s are selling the premium version of Norton for £22 which will cover 5 users and 5 items so 10 in all.
