I got a few bits today.
I got the new PPS diffuser and shower block from Decent, as well as a matte rubber steam wand sleeve and nanocoated IMS shower screen.
The new group head parts are meant to improve the taste of the shot in the cup by increasing radial extraction and further reducing channeling. It also reduces headspace by around 1mm from the current model, and being plastic and therefore less of a heat sink than brass, it allows much more accurate and responsive temperature changes when temperature profiling. I havenāt had a chance to test them out yet but I am really looking forward to my coffee tomorrow.
