ELIZABETH - vibration damper (quick mill)

Has anyone with a LIZ fitted or thought about fitting a vibration damper to their machine ???

Has it made a difference, is it worth doing ?

MRS - I find the rattling of the suction pipe annoying , without the filter. I have fitted a large rubber tap washer to the end of the pipe to insulate the small filter from rattling on the tank. Just wondered if the QM damper might help silence the noise?

Elcarajillo - I see. I never thought much about it. But yes, it’s annoying. I am not familiar with the QM damper. Where do you place it? Do you mount the pump on it or is it some sort of attachment somewhere?

Different machine (Silvia Pro) but it has a before and after clip to show the difference the Pulsor makes, plus some other additions:

I have it on my Minima with the silent pump and it’s more pleasant but still not exactly quiet, I’m considering adding sound deadening sheets to the inside case as it apparently helps too.

Yeah it attaches directly to the pump outlet

MRS – as above directly on the pump apparently close fit but possible.
