delta76 @DavecUK so for bianca it would make sense to set the pid higher and/or to increase the temp offset? It will fix the first two tests but will likely overshoot the temp of 10s idle tests which do not really matter anyway?
It would depend, in my post earlier I gave lots of considerations…e.g. how does it perform at other temps, a PID has proportional, derivative parameters, perhaps they need changing.. The only thing that is certain, current temperature testing (use by most if not all) is not fit for purpose, when considering the prosumer user….something I have been saying for almost 20 years.
Setting up the home machine is a best compromise….which is what I try to do. Current methods by others are a long long way from that.
