Looks like Lance has done a review on the Bianca V3:
One thing that caught my attention was that the machine, despite its accelerated heating up technique, still requires about 30 minutes to stabilise, contrary to some claims that the Bianca only takes 15 minutes be ready to pull a shot. (I remember discussions of this in this forum but the search functionality is close to useless, unfortunately).
The other thing which caught my attention was that the difference the brew boiler temperature and the group temperature (the offset) is only approx 5 degrees. I always thought it would be around 10 or 15!
And lastly, he seems to think the E61 is not great for brewing very light roasts at higher temperatures, like 96C or so.
And at the end he goes about how easy it is to adjust the OPV from underneath the machine. Unless that has changed considerably in the very recent machines, the Expansion Valve (aka: OPV) is adjustable from the top of the machine, and you need to remove the top lid to do so. What he is referring to is the rotary pump bypass, so a bit of confusion there on his part.
And no, I don’t comment on youtube videos. :-)
