Cuprajake chlorox not sure, i got mine used, i know the vostok is in the region of 3800 euro shipped to the uk as i asked lol
chlorox Cuprajake is 3800 euros for the version with fancy wood panels too and does it include the shipping cost and customs duties? That’s a good price if it includes all those things. For me, the direct factory model doesn’t work for me as I want a dealer to maintain the machine for me, but YMMV.
dfk41 CoyoteOldMan Or Nurri may well decide to go the ACS way, and offer a longer, parts-only warranty and direct support from the factory. Brexit or no Brexit, the UK is still geographically in Europe; more difficult to sustain that model with countries that are 6, 8 or 12 time-zones away. What factory? Nurri do not have a factory. The machines are made for them from memory
chlorox dfk41 really? I got the impression they are assembling the machines themselves at their facility. I will have to ask them about that.
CoyoteOldMan dfk41 ACS do. Nothing prevents Nurri from adopting the same model - where they ship parts from is immaterial, and the machines (and most of the parts) are made in Italy in any case.
chlorox cyclezib Yes I think a funnel that fits the 54.7mm portafilters will be far preferable. I believe that a 54mm stainless steel funnel can easily be obtained from alibaba or aliexpress to deliver to the states.
CoyoteOldMan chlorox aud4700 That’s a ‘Google bot mistake’. The search bot picks up the USD price from the Alternative Brewing site, but it labels is as AUD; in AUD, it’s about 6800.
tompoland chlorox AU$4,700 - I wish. The model I have (white and zebrano) is currently AU$7,390. CoyoteOldMan got it right
Cuprajake will be shipping but not customs, the uk would add 20% i presume, didnt go into specifics as that was out of budget haha - but id presume so
chlorox Cuprajake then that makes the vostok almost the same price or a little more expensive than the nurri if we assume Belgium has the same cost as UK..however Belgium would have local dealer support for the nurri…
tompoland cyclezib Dosing funnel - wooden with magnets https://www.etsy.com/au/listing/784403131/58mm-espresso-dosing-ring-portafilter 54mm Shot mirror - walnut https://www.etsy.com/au/listing/927839807/espresso-shot-mirror-magnetic-adhesive
CoyoteOldMan tompoland Is the funnel just held by magnets, or does it have a lip inside the basket as well? I’m trying to find a ‘lipless’ funnel, as the ACS metal one leaves a ring in the grounds…
dfk41 CoyoteOldMan Disagree, there is a fundamental difference between owning a factory that designs, makes parts and builds to an assembly line within someone else’s factory
chlorox CoyoteOldMan Hahaha same here man I wish I got tnat price myself! I think if the bare bones all stainless steel version is chosen the price can be a good deal lower.
tompoland CoyoteOldMan unfortunately it has a lip. Very small though. I’ll grind some beans, pull the funnel off, and upload a pic so you can see the impact (or lack thereof) of the lip. Back in 5.
chlorox CoyoteOldMan I have to admit that the looks of my machine really do enhance the overall pleasure I get from drinking its espresso! So if exotic wood panels make iany machine look better - I have to say from experienxe rhta my opinion is now thar the option is always worth it if it canfit within the budget! :)
tompoland Ta daaa… The lip has only a minor impact, unlike the Asso funnel which leaves a trench around the inside of the basket.
