Waitforme Lawman @Cuprajake Why have I got the feeling that there are two people just about to get a good buy on a coffee machine 🤔
LMSC @Cuprajake @Lawman Both of you are not far away from each other. I think you can meet a half-way.
John_Yossarian What does the V2 mean in terms of technology? Is it still the same machine or has it been improved functionally? Mine has just turned 2 years delivering impeccable shots and yet the itch is here. Can anyone shed some light?
Cuprajake its a stonking deal, im so so tempted- but my bianca is 8months old, dont think its worth the loss id take on the b, not sure what it would sell for,
LMSC Cuprajake You might break even cost wise - good deal saves £350 from £2K listed before and whatever the B is worth. It’s only 8 months as you say; you shouldn’t lose much. But, you stand to gain in terms of the V’s features and capabilities. 😊

Stevebee Fantastic deal for a great machine. Had mine 4 years, used for over 200 shots each weekend, and it hasn’t missed a beat. Steaming good and with the right profile for the bean can produce stunning shots.
Cuprajake well, that depends on your budget and love for espresso, this is an end game machine, it does flow profiling, and is very temp stable,
Grahamsphillips Meldrew At this price? Its a no brainer. End game machine (you’d pay what £6500 for a LM GS3 which won’t produce better coffee). This is an extraordinary bargain and you’ll likely NEVER feel the need to upgrade!
Grahamsphillips Hi @John_Yossarian : The original Vesuvius had (I think) nylon pipes and in V2 these were replaced with stainless steel. Same functionality but improved longevity. Yours is like V2 anyway - @DavecUK will doubtless supply chapter and verse

Yours is like V2 anyway - @DavecUK will doubtless supply chapter and verse I’m not sure, I suspect it will come with PTFE high pressure pipework, far superior to nylon and personally, I prefer compared to steel, for ease of maintenance.
John_Yossarian DavecUK Grahamsphillips Thank you both for the clarification. I hope the nylon (I believe this should be HDPE) would be OK for several years more but I believe replacing them with high pressure PTFE later should not be a major issue.
