JahLaza So then, what about maintenance on this? Not that one would ever need to on such a prestigious machine eh?! Obviously the Elizabeth is well manageable but what about this then? And parts
Most parts are generic and easily available..The pump is very expensive, but fairly bulletproof, there was a batch of bad magnets, but all of those should have worked through the system years ago…a magnet is cheap though..Pumps are made by Fluid-O-Tech.
Main Board is bulletproof, displays seem reliable as well. E61 group so easy to maintain. (for the group I would always recommend parts that are not generic…they always fit without fuss. Generic parts sometimes need adjustment. There are many manufacturers if E61 groups. I can’t remember if the Mushroom is now steel or not (doesn’t make much difference). Plenty of room to work on inside and the use of PTFE pressure tubing in many areas, simplifies maintenance.
It’s a machine I still consider to be an expensive construction (the like of which exceeds most manufacturers) great quality and superb performance. Boilers are fabulous quality.
