I will be fixing a big terracotta plant pot that used to be at the front of our house until a group of local yoofs decided it was something to use for weight-lifting. It is now in 20-odd clean pieces, awaiting epoxy and putty… The plants survived and have been re-planted in a much larger fibreglass planter (which is hopefully heavy enough to dissuade the yoofs from further training; the same gang of orangos decided that our neighbour ‘hanging baskets’ were meant for monkeys to hang on, with predictable results on the neighbour’s front wall).
Once that is finished, making a handle for the Ceado grinding setting - just got a nice olivewood blank to replace the black plastic original that is also cracked.
If I survive that task with all my fingers, I have a whole cupboard/shoe cabinet to build to replace some Ikea junk; the wood has been waiting for 3 months and is now stable.
If the weather is nice, I may interrupt any of the above and be dragged by the family on a trip to visit some country house or other, and/or get there on the bike and drive back with them.
Ernie1 Your idea of working starts sounding strangely attractive! 🤣
