Talking of chili ….
In the past my other half and I were if truth be told wusses when it came to too hot stuff. Our curries and chili concarne would have had any respectible Indina or Mexican turning in their graves and if trying to sell it would probably be done under the trade descriptions act. But as the years have moved on we have gotten better and now even handle a bit of Sriracha. So, being somewhat braver I thought I would up my chili game too and went and bought some dried chilis I had never tried before.
I just used one as a test and all I can say is……F MY OLD BOOTS!
I know the clue to their strength is on the label, but I really do think they should put a health warning on the chuffer! It even hurt to breath in and no amount of yoghurt could quench the fire.
Oh, and as for afterwards, yes I thoroughly washed my hands after handling them but even hours later when needing a tinkle, I should have worn rubber gloves…if you know what I mean…ahem!
