dutchy101 I have been saving mine over the summer in a huge plastic bag….come winter, I intend to warm the house with it, or try and sell it back to the Gas company.
Last night I was thinking about what some people who couldn’t fix are going to be paying for Gas and Electric this winter (especially the elderly as many won’t have been savvy enough to fix, or listened to Martin Lewis in April). The bills for some are going to be staggering. I suspect many elderly people on their own will quietly die of cold and this will be hidden from us (because it’s not palatable to hear it). People like nice photos on Instagram of happy smiling people. I suspect the death certificates won’t list cause of death as hypothermia, perhaps simply died with poverty will be listed.
And before people shout Politics at me….this is not politics, it’s about being a human being.
