    Cuprajake Got my 5kg today. Only got home from work an hour or so ago and thought I would give the greens a sniff - they smell freaking amazing! Can’t wait to roast some tomorrow on the Kaffelogic - already have 2 profiles in mind.

      Mine have been delayed.

      But I have terrible luck with shipping in general 😂

      @Beverast The mango at the end of the taste really comes out nicely on those beans. I’m enjoying them. It’s an interesting bean, something like a blend of a south american and ethiopian to me.

      I’m coming to the end of my coffee compass beans, enjoyed Brighton lanes and cherry cherry but fancy a change. I had planned to get a couple from Foundry but they have sold out of the recent recommendations. I mostly drink flat whites with the occasional espresso. Any recommendations? (Happy to go lighter than above blends, as found them too dark the more I drank them)

        Ordered sunset and escape blends following you’re recommendation. Spot on. Just what I was looking for. Ordered early morning on 2nd class and came next day. Very reasonable price helps! Cheers.

          After the tip in this thread, I too ordered some Ultimate Stoater, from Unorthodox.

          Just started experimenting with it yesterday. Great shot today. 17g in, 38g out, 87c temp. 10 secs to pull lever up, 15 second preinfusion around 2 bar, then ramp to 7-8 bar and slowly decline. Total shot time 1m 20s.

                Its nearly time to buy some more beans 😂 - defo want to try some from foundry , the extract decaff but whilst looking about I found this list of various roasters - thought some might be interested here.

                Not sure I have a favorite coffee - I may look for those where the roasters mention it works well with milk as thats all we drink.

                  MattH - I’d take that list with a couple handfuls of salt.

                  Union, Pact, Origin… they are definitely NOT on my top 10 list. But hey, taste is subjective. 😉

                      My top 5 in no particular order - Foundry, Blackcat, Crankhouse, DarkArts and North Star.

                      MediumRoastSteam And thats another reason to post it - I would much rather take suggestions from here - where people have tried it.

                      My brother bought me a selection from union so just starting on those now.

                              Great value too!

                              Crankhouse, Colombia, Wilton Benitez Granja Paraiso ’92 anaerobic natural orange Bourbon. Delicate, light sweet citrus, balanced by a slight filmy character (maybe what’s driving the ’jasmine/icing sugar notes?), pretty clean, hints of rustic notes in a few brews, overall very enjoyable but may not for anyone looking for bold flavours (or a bargain at £11.00 per 100g), I gave it 7.8/9 over 8 drip brews.

                                  Can definately recommend Foundrys Archangel Bolivia. Definately got better with a good rest but its like half coffee half orange, really sweet and lovely with milk, standard espresso or americano.

                                    MediumRoastSteam In my mind I really like it as its not loaded with differing flavours, just a few really good ones that I can actually taste. My brains not working over time to figure them out.
