Ive dissected the internet for flat vs conicals, to the point my head exploded. Some say there isn’t, some say there is and they swear by it. Some even say that, if you put both side by side and do a blind test, you won’t even be able to tell which grinder was used for what you are drinking.
Also, there was an interesting post by @DenisS and his experience at a coffee bar in Forli - presumably in Italy, where he couldn’t believe the flavours he was getting was from a box standard conical grinder we all know well.
Unfortunately for me I only have space for one grinder. I’d love to try a conical and a flat side by side though!
