Just wanted to clear up a couple of things from what was a pretty clunky email. I mustāve read that through 10 times and it was still a bit of a word salad. I think the phrase is word blind!
Anyway, the TDLR - single origin, blended coffee and decaf will be on the site like normal.
What we are attempting to do is in addition to our usual coffee, offer a new club with different tiers that will enable us to get in some really awesome coffees from small lots that we at present pass on as they are either too small, too unusual or too expensive.
These coffees will form the basis of the āLimited & Unusualā tier. The Explorer tier essentially replaces our current roasters choice and the Tradition is a sort of entry point or for those that like as the name implies - a more traditional style.
Some of the coffee that goes out to members will be exclusive to the club due to the size of the lots and other lots it will be your first way to sample them before general release.
I am also hoping this gives me a little bit more time to be able to plan numbers, manage demand, stock levels and get my roasting schedule a bit more regular.
If you guys like to pick your own from tasting notes however you will still be able to do that as you can now.
Hope that clears things up. New coffees on the site next week too including our first honey process Geisha and a cracking natural process bourbon from Rwanda.
