Exactly. My daughter, as a doctor, was on the front line since early 2020 and my wife was also going to school 2-3 days a week to take care of children from key workers and vulnerable families; and, it was very scary and hard until the jab was available.
My daughter later said during the second wave, I might not have had a chance to get a vent, should a need were to arise. Of course, it varies from trusts to trusts.
All these are familiar stories for all of us.
We all got tested positive this year. My daughter suffered for 3 weeks, my wife for a week and self with minor issues. One could continue testing positive for up to 45 days after Covid. The jab should be avoided until such time. We tested negative and had both jobs last month. 😊
A minor downside in my case is I can no longer enjoy spices (chillies) on my plate.
Thank God we had the jab!
