First time poster here! I found this thread by searching for “ACS Vostok,” because I am a new owner and plan to read through all the posts here to gain some insight from other owners.
In the meantime, boy, was this thing hard to plumb in! There is barely any clearance underneath to work with wrenches, so a humble word of advice if you’re getting one of these and plan to plumb it in: connect your braided hose to the bottom of the machine and test it before it’s on the countertop, because it will be almost impossible to work on while it’s on a counter.
Other than that, I absolutely love it and am overwhelmed by all the control it’s giving me between the temperature, preinfusion pressure, and auto shot release. ACS did an amazing job with this!
I’m waiting to get a 54mm base plate for my Force Tamper to use with this as I prefer a self-leveling tamper. Any recommendations on cost-effective distributors that work with the 55mm double basket?!
