Smaller tubes are available!!
Do Daveās trick with the joystick balls, with the machine off put some moly on a cocktail stick several times whilst moving the joystick around. Surprising how good lubing that small exposed part helps.
One very minor backwards step introduced with the āsafety systemā which i think was Davids trick on the original open cylinder of (again with the machine off) taking the shower screen off, pulling the lever down and than lubing the lower cylinder wall in order to lube the lower piston seal.
This is still relatively easy with the blind or safety system cylinder by removing the 4 x m6 (10mm spanner) dome head nuts and pulling the whole piston assembly out. Then lube the seals directly.
Frequency, when your in a āwhat is inside thereā kind of mood or 6 to 12 months
At the same time if you want to lube the outer cylinder seals , turn the machine on with the piston assembly still out.
Turn brew and steam boiler off.
Set group temp to 80 and leave it 10 mins . The cylinder will then very easily slide upwards and out.
Frequency 1 to 2 years .

When refitting moly just needs to be on the orings!!
P.s. im posting the 2 posts believing the Vostok is identical for these suggestions to the evo
