I do not think there will be any correlation between pre infusion pressure and puck drilling, as, i believe the puck drilling occurs in the first second or so with the dry coffee bed and the “jet”'from the single hole and will occur regardless of the pressure set for the pump to switch off. (Pre infusion pressure) During the initial filling the flow and pressure produced by the pump is the same, it just stays on a bit longer with higher set point pressures
Yours is interesting as your hole seems very close to the centre screw. Mine is further out and the drilling did not occur even with the original unmodified sleeve . I did not modify my sleeve for any reason to do with puck drilling btw .
