Here is my beloved Gaggia Classic which I bought (second hand) when I started my real coffee journey back in February 2013. When I got it, it had already been modified and had a PID fitted. I then added the Rancillio Steam Wand and got a pressure gauge and set the pressure to 9 bar. I also bought a few upgrades such as a naked portafilter, IMS 12/18g basket an IMS competition shower screen, Brass Shower Plate Holder and replaced o’rings etc.
As you will see from the photo’s, it came with an adaptor kit for coffee pods which I know won’t interest you proper espresso drinkers but it is an original kit and not something I think is sold now in that form so intersting none-the-less.
Yes, it is old, but it still works just fine. The only ‘issue’ is the power on switch light doesn’t light up when on. I really do not know what to ask for it and I haven’t packaged it up yet and weighed it all to see what it would cost to post. I still have the original Gaggia Box it came in too.
So, everything you see in the photos showing the Gaggia is what will be delivered and I think for someone wanting to have a go at real coffee making as I did, it’s not a bad place to start.
I also have a Brasillia RR55OD 64mm flat burr grinder complete with undamaged hopper (hopper is not shown) It is a big beast and when I got it, it had been completely overhauled with new burrs and again is immaculate for its age and works perfectly well, producing very fine grounds. I also have a manual for this too.
I would be happy to sell separately or as a set, but I really have no idea what they are worth and although I have had them a while, none have been used a lot which is why they are in very good condition.
