I’ve decided to make donation easier for you (well mainly easier for me). I had the idea that people would want to donate very small amounts and I should amalgamate them together before passing onto freeflarum.org. However, no one ever donates a tiny amount, so there is little need for me to try and save them money on payment processing. I was also getting amounts in dribs and drabs.

You are donating to Freeflarum who provide our hosting for free not me. The direct method has benefits in that I am not handling any payments and even I won’t know who donated what. I only get informed that a donation of X has been made from Coffeetime, allowing me to update the forum ticker with the total amount donated by us to freeflarum.

Just to make the process clearer, the message field should look like this when you donate, so they know it was for our forum and tell me X amount has been donated…which is all they tell me. As it’s closing in on Xmas and the electric to run the servers has probably risen in Holland same as here…I suspected a few people might be trying to donate.
