Petre @DavecUK it is quite disappointing you banned @DenisS - he made some accusations to you directly and you could just defend instead of discretionally ban him just because you have the means for that. It clearly shows we can’t freely speak here and that not everybody has the same voice.
I won’t take that sort of accusation any more, why should I, had enough of that for 4 years. LH wanted DFK banned for much less than Denis accused me of. You can’t speak freely on any public platform, you have to use some self control, there are limits to what can be posted on any forum.
Petre You state in your signature this is not a commercial forum but if this is not an echo chamber for Niche an ACS then I don’t know what it is. There is a short list of ppl here that just “signed up for Niche Duo testing” and they just “were lucky enough to be chosen” that would fiercely cancel any criticism to these products and you don’t seem to mind that at all.
In what way is it commercial. Sure people with ACS machines use it to ask for help with problems, it’s not exactly pushing ACS in preference to any other brand. The forum has hardly pushed Niche (probably less than some other forums) over the 18 months it’s been in operation.
The Duo testing reference, I am not sure I understand what you are getting at? Please explain what you are trying to say. I was asked to select some testers and there were people chosen for very specific reasons. I’m guessing you’d like to know what those reasons were, is that what you are asking? Or is it something else?
I have expressed concerns about a number of kick-starters not just Meticulous or Timemore and it’s not trashing just realistic assessments of what we don’t know and some of the real risks of the projects (the latter in the case of the meticulous, I don’t think Timemore has delivery risks. I am of course allowed to express my opinion of these products as is anyone else. People have expressed negative opinions of Niche and ACS on this forum, I have never stopped them. You can’t be selective with your “facts”. Go look more carefully at the crowdfunding section and not just the projects you want to see.
You see what happened through the prism of your experience and knowledge of the “facts”. Unfortunately, this knowledge seems to be limited, or coloured by opinions. you are seeing what you want to see.
