Elcarajillo - Iām happy to hold until whenever. As you can see, Iām not in a hurry at all. I donāt live too far from Marlborough, so if Newbury/Thatcham is on your way, then thatās even easier. Personally, I would not roast indoors - maybe under a good extractor fan yes, but not without it. Although it doesnāt smoke like the Gene, it has an afterburner. So you still get smoke, but you canāt see it. But the smell is there, and it will linger for a few days.

As for reasons why Iām selling. Iām just not the guy who enjoys roasting. I tried a few times (Gene Cafe, Something I made myself and later the Behmor). With the Behmor, you can hear first crack loud and clear. With the Gene, it was hard, for me at least.
I donāt think I have the aptitude for roasting. In a way, Iām too mechanical and technical, so the intuition is what I lack - Same for cooking. I suck. So I decided to let the pros do it. For Ā£180ā¦ itās a steal if you want to get into roasting.
