One would hope they will deliver…but it could be not what people expected at all, or take much, much, much longer. A significant amount of the money they collected will go to salaries (large team), offices, expenses, exhibitions, advertising etc.. and the long the delivery period the more of that money gets eaten up.
After that, there’s tooling, prototyping, storage, software development, packaging, build etc.. costs (for the machines and stretch goals)…all taken out before machines can be delivered. At which point, one wonders will there be enough to deliver all those machines and ancillary products to the quality required. Unbelievably, considering the amount raised… I can see cash flow potentially becoming an issue.
