Yep common scam. Always trustpilot search a site you dont recognise. If you have a good level of confidence after doing so that its not a scam, always use a credit card.

If the purchase is over £100, only ever use a debit card on sites that are absolutely rock solid and you know will provide support way faster than a credit card (eg. amazon), Otherwise use a credit card.

£1800 machine for £600. Seems legit 😂

Usual saying goes, if it seems to good to be true…..

Cuprajake Ditto, I’m just messing! Site is a scam for sure.

(That said, it does seem harder to find coffee stuff at auction that say whisky or records or other collectibles. I have been lightly researching auctions/buys of raw beans and finding great deals there, but I have no intention of roasting or flipping, so seems academic for me)

simonc Too many of these sorts of sites for many hobbies, only 1 sale from someone and the scam pays off…

Tips: Check the address on google maps, see if they have reviews (google and other sites), check companies house if they’re based in the UK (you can see some finances too to confirm).

Can’t find them on companies house so probably a scam.

Thanks. Yes I posted when saw thinking it might be some old version type clearance stock or thing before realising just how bad the site was and all the obvious red flags. It’s not even on trust pilot as brand new.

I’ve actually reported to the site host company on off chance they take action.

FadedFrontiers their business address is registered to a Tesco!

I couldn’t find any results when looking up either the address or the post code

Physical address: Blue Cage bingatte, London, NS1 5B2, United Kingdom.

      A right bunch of scammers.
