I’ll definitely post my first impressions, hopefully tomorrow providing UPS don’t drop the ball.
Planning to do a few taste tests and then the acid test for me is grinding a decent cup of V60, then switching to espresso straight after and getting a good cup without any purging or cleaning beyond a pull of the knocker.
I’ve bought a kilo of Caravan beans I’m super familiar with for both methods so I’ll run a couple of hundred g through the burrs first and then taste it.
People are reporting the grinders turning up with coffee grounds in the burrs already (something I’ve found on new Mazzers in the past) so they should be tested and ready to go.
