MattH I can thoroughly recommend the coffee. They do the Limini blend in two roast levels. If I had ben writing that email to me, I would have used a different approach. To suggest they will send out coffee less than 21 days old to me, means it could be 20 days old and still reflect their agreement. My response was to thank them and suggest if they were putting a marker on my account, to change it to 7 days

    I tried the Christmas blend which was ok and the lisco. The lisco was really darkly roasted and tbh quite a few of the beans were black. No matter what I did it tasted like rubber tyres, I did email them as I thought the roast was off but they replied and said this one was hard to dial in.

      Bagpu55 Interesting. I have the current Liscio. They must have listened to you as the 2 bags I have tried are roasted just slightly north of medium! I enjoy the taste of the Liscio. Tomorrow I will add a photo to show you the roast level. I found the Limini dark roasted a little too dark, the Limini normal was ok but I do enjoy the Rimini which is a good example of the classic Italian bean

          dfk41 I glad they have it was terrible. I was looking forward to trying it but something wasnt right as soon as i openned the bag, notes of rubber tyre and black oily beans. Hey ho can laugh now, I could drink nescafe after that bag. All part of the experience.

            Hmm, your liscio is much more even, mine looked like a blend of beans of different colours with some darker than the rimini. I could have sworn I took a photo but cant for the life of me find it. Glad your enjoying them.

            I settled my differences with Limini. They agreed to put a marker on my account to ensure any coffee sent out had to be less than 7 days post roast. 45 minutes ago, I ordered another kilo of what I find to be a really good coffee, Liscio. The system allowed me to add a note where I confirmed less than 7 days. 45 minutes later I received the dispatch email. The coffee was £25.25 with free next working day delivery by DPD. Cracking service! Initially their traditional Italian style blends got me into them, but the Liscio is just a medium and I can get a very sweet cuppa!

            Robti I think their Brazilian is the best dark roast I’ve had. Works as an espresso or in milk, or Americano. I’d say it’s hard to tell it’s decaf.

            The Mexico decaf isn’t quite there for me being a bit lighter roast.

                Thanks that’s why I ordered the Brazil beans as I thought from the description the Mexican would be too bland
