Has anyone bought from Limini, and if so, what was your experience? They appear to be as cheap as chips, so I have an order arriving today. Be next week before I tuck into them
Limini
The coffee although not expensive is well roasted. They have a couple of expensive Loring roasters which roast in a low Oxygen environment.

My order arrived today. Nicely packaged, not expensive but I thought this label could put a few roasters to shame!
Uploading is not working, will do it when it lets me
Decided to try this roaster as I’ve not used them before.
Bought 4 different 250g bags, prices are very reasonable.

Just to report back. I bought a 250 gm bag of a limited edition Honduran bean. It was very pleasant did nid not really cut it. I then opened the Rimini blend. It was medium dark and absolutely bang on for my taste buds. This morning I have opened the Limini blend. I had an americano for breakfast without milk but I had the grind too tight. I adjusted it for the 11. am cappuccino and got it nailed bang on. It gave me the nicest milk based drink that I can remember having in a long time.
I would say, anyone who enjoys darker roasted beans, especially blends should try them. I know where my future orders are going!

I enjoyed 3 of the 4 bags I got, the one I wasn’t keen on was darker roasted than the other 3 , but I should have known that before ordering 🙄
Just received a kilo of their Colombian, think it was about £23 delivered, will tip that into the hopper on Tuesday👌

Waitforme the one I wasn’t keen on was darker roasted than the other 3
There is a very dark roast for the coffee shops that buy it…for obvious reasons, they are almost exclusively making milk drinks and milk coffee desert drinks. Most home prosumer users probable won’t like it, unless they are only into milk drinks.
DavecUK This is their in house Limini blend. I ordered the Dark version as well. In milk, once dialled it it is exceptional! I have also had an americano this afternoon and it is right up my street. I have re-ordered today and have bought both versions of ths bean to compare them
Uncletits I have ordered both of those that you mentioned in the order I placed today. In a couple of weeks we can compare notes!
dang2484 I am going to work my way through their catalogue! I had forgotten about decaf so will grab some next time. A good decaf is set to rival most other coffees. I am so happy to be back on darker bean island after having been in the light wilderness for 6 months!
Just to shout out again, and sorry if I have said this. The first bag I opened from Limini, was called Rimini. Nice and dark and full of flavour but if you were a click either way on the Solo away from optimal, the taste was lesser. I then opened the Limini blend. This looked similar. I then realised that I had ordered the dark roast version. This was slightly easier to dial in and for my cardboard tastebuds, very tasty indeed. I would go as far as to say, as a cappuccino it was outstanding.
The reason that I am banging on about this is simple. I have preferred darker roasted coffee for 25 years. I have been though dozens of roasters. I have been though Single Origin, blends, you name it. Every now and then you find a roaster that just nails it…..for me, this is it. If you do buy from Limini (and they are very reasonably priced) please do post back and tell us your thoughts
dfk41 I have just received 5 assorted bags from Limini, including Limini blend and Rimini blend👍
I usually buy the Rimini or Limini blends and to qualify for free postage a 250 gm bag of something else. This time I bought this one, Liscio

It is not as dark as the usual blends I buy from them bur slightly north of medium.
I was really pleasantly surprised by this one. It is just as tasty as a black americano or with milk
Just a further heads up, I now see that if you spend £25 Limini offer next day delivery with DPD for free…..ordered today, here tomorrow
Ordered yesterday, delivered this morning by DPD free of charge before 9am….
