Too funny; you were what we in the USA call a liberal arts major, I presume.

Since you know everything there is little to say except you are entirely off-base about me; you know one version of American history promoted by one branch of media; Trump did not win a majority – less than 50% of voters backed him; his lead over Harris was enough to win but very, very slim; not a mandate. I could go on further however I suggest we wait. Actions, not words; results not rhetoric. If you and your fellows are right I shall be extremely pleased because that means a much better future than what I see now. If I am right – well, we shall see your response then.

    Jake,

Putin’s and China’s aggression are I’d say, very much the result of Trump’s work when in office. Happy to PM or email you if you wish to discuss further privately.

The global immigration problem is real and huge and needs a solution now not later. I have one to offer but not publicly as I’d prefer not to be murdered for my thoughts. I’m in the Netherlands for two months and believe me I can see the problem all too well. There is no time to lose, and that’s all I’ll say here.

Inflation was a real issue and in large part due to economic disruption by the pandemic. I think the actual numbers show the USA government during that time did a competent job, however no denying it was painful and bumpy. The hit to my retirement account was very, very large and unhappy. However, the situation now is much improved. Fingers crossed such a situation does not recur soon.

    Best, Brendan

Bankruptcy – so I looked and found nothing new; these are all well-known instances. I note all those named filed ONCE not FOUR verging on FIVE times.

My viewpoint is that Trump got in for the same reason Labour got in here…I just hope for the USA, he does a better job than our new government is doing.

I truly hope so too, however there is a reason that in both elections he lost NY where he is a local and well-known figure. My fingers are crossed that I’m dead-wrong about him; it will be very bad if I am right. Time will tell.

The issue is not how many times it takes but where one is at the end of it. And he is certainly very solvent today in spite of thr best efforts of the establishment to bankrupt him including of the most absurd civil damages award imaginable…

Trump’s win over harris was not a landslide by the measure of reagan’s trouncing of Monday but it was not a slim one by any recent measure. He won by a greater majority than any other republican since 1988 - no mean achievement!

So how many times is what is essentially a welfare check acceptable to you. Is five okay? How about ten? Perhaps a dozen? Anyone can have a stellar balance sheet if they get someone else to pay for them.

                BrendaninBrooklyn
It’s funny how u keep asserting that others shouldn’t presume to know u but here u e making false assumptions about me being a liberal arts major…

                  chlorox

I may be wrong in this instance; however your smudgings of facts and details, led me to believe you had no background in science or engineering.

What brendan chooses not to acknowledge is that the southern border collapsed as soon as trump was replaced by biden because biden immediately on the first day of his tenure reversed virtually all of trump’s anti immigration executive orders including rhe stay in Mexico directive and allowed the flood to come in and then after they come in to catch and release them into the population. Of course modt of them claimed asylum which allowed to backlog the court system for the next ten years and meanwhile they can work etc and get properly entrenched do that the Democrats cna then give them amnesty in another few years and induc ta few million more democrat voters to turn America into a permanent democrat voting dupr majority…

                      BrendaninBrooklyn

Or rather the real reason why you won’t reveal your reasoning is because you have none. So wrong and yet so unable to accept the truth…

                        BrendaninBrooklyn

In fact you were unable to refuse even a single one of my assertions on what the dems are really doing to illegally bring in millions to guarantee for them a prrmanent super majority and how biden counteracted trump executive orders to create the immigration catastrophe. The Democrats are the real existential threat to the Republic and to democracy and they have always been since their beginnings as the slavery supporting party, the party of the South in the civil war, the party behind the ku klux klan and the party behind foreign wars and expansion.

Trump 76.9 million votes // 49.9% of votes cast

Harris 74.4 million votes // 48.3% of votes cast

Hardly a mandate, a landslide, or any other such nonsense

                            chlorox

Actually, the Trump wall was collapsing soon after construction. Real high-quality stuff just like his other projects.
