Evo leva drip tray drain location

I spent an hour or so last night scrolling the 4k+ post Evo leva thread and didn’t find anything in the couple thousand posts I checked (maybe bad luck where I started…) - also only a couple mentions on HB but no solution. Therefore starting a new thread. I’m not currently plumbed in with my Evo leva but am considering an under counter 5 gallon jug. Has anybody done any modifications or have a solution for how high the drain is?

A 90 degree fitting acting as a siphon tube pointed towards the bottom to get a bit more out?

I have the same machine. Always plumbed in and drain goes in to washing machine drain.

Hah thank you and sorry! I did try the search a few times but couldn’t quite get it figured it out. It seemed to link the same post no matter my search terms. At least it was an instructive use of time looking at all the old posts.

So people deal with the higher drain it looks like. I wouldn’t be tied in to an actual drain line but rather an under counter bucket so I would be less inclined to do infinite flushes to clean out the remaining gunk. Oh well.

what are you using to send water to the additional fitting (which sprays the water towards the drain)? I understand that to be the overflow/vent drain but since I have the v1 is there some functionality related to the shot dump my version is lacking?

So, on the v2 that is the “exhaust” path from the system once the dump solenoid opens…

V1 doesn’t have a dump solenoid so very little water from that outlet.

I have had both and been plumbed in on both.

The slight puddle of water in there does not bother me.

I do clean it occasionally but there are a lot of days in 1 occasionally 😘🤭 i definately run out of fingers and toes counting!!
