It didn’t change anything. No adverse affects. And wasnt seen.

What i found was, it was most likely done by my bimonthly cleaning. apparently your not supposed to put the burr units in the sink with the pots and scrub with a scotchbrite pad, are you?
Oh no, it couldn’t be that either as i use 120 grit wet n dry, not scotchbrite pads ,🤪
More seriously. Water never toughed them.
Its different with the key, philos and the kafatek due to the different materials and or coatings
