Or, if you’re quite handy and good with electrics, you could drill and grommet the bottom, put a clamp in and hard wire it…Leave the plug receptacle, so it can be returned to stock.
Or even better, ask the factory to make it hard wired for you, bottom exit, and leave the receptacle, ask to see if they can put the plug receptacle on the bottom and use a right angled plug…they “might” customise it for a very small fee or free.
