Yes I did measure it carefully and conclude that the paddle may cause me issues. I hadn’t banked on the sticky uppy spindly thing sticking out of the water tank lid, which has since been unscrewed.
Wow though. I thought I’d never be able to pull it forward to refill it, until I attached some felt pads to the feet.
Sadly, I lied about it arriving today. It was yesterday, but by the time I’d read the manual, attended pesky work meetings, and then got round to making a coffee, it had switched itself off and gone cold, too late in the day for a second warmup attempt. I fell foul of the secret second powerdown mode, so thanks for your tip in the other Bianca thread about how to disable it through the leverup / powerup combination, it saved my Friday morning.
