That Amtech adjustable spanner is a good tool! I have one, but was tempted by the talk and raving reviews to get a Knipex Pliers Wrench tool, which costs almost ten times the price (!). The jaw protectors for the Knipex on their own were more expensive than the entire Amtech spanner, which comes with the jaw protectors included.
First time I used the Knipex, the jaw protectors lost their shape. They are soft plastic, sensitive to heat, slip, and they fall off - shockingly poor for their ridiculous price in my opinion. In addition, the jaws on the Knipex are very narrow, so there is less area for grip than on the wider Amtech. Bottom line, when I last serviced my machine, I used the Amtech.
