chlorox Vostok venting is not via the screen, there is a physical recessed button. I did have a Nurri on the bench for a while.
Nurri Leva S.A.

I am aware u had a very early example of the nurri leva to test. On thd other hand i have been using the nurri every day since I got it in December and i have to point that the travel direction and the force required of the paddle make such an occurrence quite improbable - unless one actually engineers it to happen.
A physically recessed button sounds easier to depress than a touchscreen option on a menu…
While i suppose for the uniquely-“talented” toaster submerging brigade :), it may always be possible to have any type of accident but if that’s the case, then for them even a physically recessed button can be accidentally triggered at the wrong time … so it seems to me thar both situations belong to the same improbable category for everybody else…
Yes which is finally why we asked what speed the lever would come back up at 🤣
Got there in the end

I think Jake would like to see a video of the lever rising after the paddle has been used to depressurise the group at the start of a shot or with a blind basket.
I promise to do one for the Vostok when I get it if one hasn’t already surfaced by then.
Take it easy friend, you have a lovely highly capable machine.
People are interested in it and will delve deeply into its capabilities and idiosyncrasies.
Comments are just that not complaints nor insults.

As far as I am concerned Antonio is a friend of mine, so if his machine brings him success, then good luck to him. We just need to celebrate the abundance of advanced levers, rather then the very over priced, underwhelming basic offerings we had before!
The Nurri comes with a mini drip tray riser that sits on the drip tray to elevate smaller cups closer to the group head.
The problem is that the riser is too narrow for my Acaia Lunar scale to sit on it and remain stable.
Ali Express to the rescue.
tompoland - just an observation: shouldn’t the platform be on top of the scale?
MediumRoastSteam normally yes. In this case it’s not stable set up the traditional way. Let’s call it a work in progress.
I’m not a fan of the aesthetics mate.
Looks like a pretty good match colour wise.
metal or plastic, it looks like the decent scale thing

Amberale To be clear AA it’s not ideal. I’d far prefer to Nurri to make the riser tray wider.
I am still a little surprised that a new machine doesn’t take into account that modern prosumers are going to want to use a scale. Even Decent, is only just starting to design a drip tray that accommodates a scale and there are a proliferation of aftermarket objects like the AE version above that are filling that gap.
The Nurri riser is fine for a cup but it Antonio seems to have assumed that no one wants to use a scale.
Same for shot mirrors although at least the Decent has one built in.
So … the white stand, which is not exactly “integrated” into the look of the Nurri, may well prove to be a wobbly mis step in the right direction.
Sorry mate, it’s not really that bad.
It’s just that it covers the lovely “Nurri” cut out and doesn’t look stable enough to put the scale underneath.
I’d also be concerned about it marking the front.
Manufacturers are catching up with a lot of thing so hopefully scale friendly designs are coming.
