Massive difference I’m really looking forward to trying an espresso now, I don’t drink them much having said that but I’ve been buying decent coffee beans for years and latterly I’ve obviously not been getting the best out of them.
This has been a huge learning thing though not just with the machine but essentially going right back to basics.
I think the biggest mistake I made was just assuming that the machine was working properly when I bought it cause really I had no idea even though the coffee was pretty good initially but what I should have done was take it to Espresso Services and let them look over it and service it properly then I’d have known how much water comes out of the group and so on and they would have told me about descaling thing etc.
I’ve been going to them for years and have a really good relationship with them I actually bought a new Expobar DB machine and a new grinder from them back in 2014 or so.
