Elcarajillo - I’m happy to hold until whenever. As you can see, I’m not in a hurry at all. I don’t live too far from Marlborough, so if Newbury/Thatcham is on your way, then that’s even easier. Personally, I would not roast indoors - maybe under a good extractor fan yes, but not without it. Although it doesn’t smoke like the Gene, it has an afterburner. So you still get smoke, but you can’t see it. But the smell is there, and it will linger for a few days.

As for reasons why I’m selling. I’m just not the guy who enjoys roasting. I tried a few times (Gene Cafe, Something I made myself and later the Behmor). With the Behmor, you can hear first crack loud and clear. With the Gene, it was hard, for me at least.
I don’t think I have the aptitude for roasting. In a way, I’m too mechanical and technical, so the intuition is what I lack - Same for cooking. I suck. So I decided to let the pros do it. For £180… it’s a steal if you want to get into roasting.
