Elcarajillo - I use pork shoulders steaks and, this time I tried some Spanish sausage (not chorizo). I’ve tried with chorizo before but it wasn’t for me (I’m actually not a fan.)

I often use pork shoulder steaks (rather than the chorizo) and lardons.
You can buy the black turtle beans from Tesco or Sainsbury’s. They are in the same shelf as the other beans (cannellini beans, pinto beans, etc).
If you are vegetarian, don’t bother with the meat and use a vegetable stock. Works out just fine.
Ps: I googled up “ Cocido, Fabada and Puchero” - I kind of can see the similarity, but it’s a totally different thing. 😉
