Our resident air fryer enthusiast @dfk41 has been urging me to get a better air fryer for months. So enter the Tower 11 litre model Used good as new for £50 on Amazon (It had never been used or even unpacked).
Yesterday I cooked my long anticipated rotisserie chicken, a function I was keen to try. It was a 1.3kg bird…The taste was delicious, nice crispy skin, moist and flavoursome, like no chicken I had ever cooked before. I used the same combination of rubs I always use. It took around 1 hour at 200C. I have promised myself to not only always cook chicken this way, but see what other things I can cook this way. I even went mad and ordered a cylindrical rotisserie basked for other things.
I’m also incredibly lazy, and once it’s trussed up and in, you can forget about it, nothing more to do.
