Doesn’t Hoffmann have glasses made with coffee grounds?

I used to know a guy who made fountain pens, with the bodies made with coffee beans.

There’s a guy who makes them out of jeans too with resin

accuro whether or not those products would be commercially viable to produce is another question.

And whether they are quite as green as the team making them is making them out to be - considering energy for drying, mixing, pressing, milling and finishing, plus the oil extraction for the binding agent and the residuals of whatever plants are used - is yet another one.

CoyoteOldMan it’s a fair point. Some “Green” products produce more energy based emissions than traditional products. Solar or hydro energy for their drying, mixing etc would help. Not that Ukraine is going to get much of either with winter coming and that other mob blowing up their dams, poor buggers.

It’s certainly an innovative use. I think I’ll stick to putting them in the compost heap, though …. (I mean my grounds, not these glasses). It might not be innovative, but it is efficient.
