Just remembered this one - a bit more contemporary

And this of course by poor Otis , dead and gone. Bonus point if you get that reference without Google.

My son is named Milo for a variety of reasons, this being one of them.

"Just how much coffee does a middle-aged punk need to perform speedy punk songs?
The older you get, the more it takes. [Drummer] Bill [Stevenson] drinks about eight espressos before he goes on. And I go: “Dude isn’t that overkill?” And he goes: “That’s just so I can play the beats.”

I don’t know if anyone else is havig problems with those images/links but almost all of them are either unstable (flickering in and out, mostly out) or I simply get a “Video unavailable - watch on Youtube” message, and can;t even tell what music is referred to without going to YT. One that does seem stable (no idea why) is Bach’s Coffee Cantata (I think it was CoyoteOldMan’s link), which has long been a favourite of mine and I have on CD.

Otherwise, I have no particular coffee-related music. I don’t think that way. I’m more aligned with mood-related music, and don’t really pay much aattention to either music or artist names. I just know what suits, or evokes, my mood, whether it be relaxing, pumping me up, or anything else.

CoffeePhilE It’s a ‘problem’ with YouTube - some channels choose to disable playing on third-party sites as they can’t always monetise those ads/views. The Netherlands Bach Society is recording ‘all of Bach’ as a public domain enterprise, funded from donations, not YouTube views…

BTW - if you like the Coffee Cantata, that particular interpretation is not only very good musically, but I found it extremely enjoyable (and funny) to watch as a ‘mini opera’.

For me…from a group I like. I am not sure they were the first to actually record it..but it was the definitive version. Imagine my surprise when Manhatten Transfer did it.

Most people will be more familiar with the Manhatten Transfer Cover.
