Couldn’t see any mention of this new grinder (releasing soon) on the forum, so thought Id pop it up.

Had a play with this at WOC and was really impressive in person to see some of the inovation that’s gone into this grinder, hoping to get a sample unit to play with at the roastery in the new year.

looks a work horse, what size burrs

Decent De1pro v1.45 - Niche Duo - Niche Zero - Decent is the best machine ever made -

    Cuprajake 98mm burrs!

With motorised adjustment programmed by the screen so you when you change your grind ‘recipe’ on the interface it physically moves the burrs to where you put them when you programmed it, as well as adjustable RPM set on the recipe.

The level of adjusment features on this grinder looks to be really impressive, but the convenience of it too is massive. No more making notes of what notch/number your grind setting was for certain coffees, you can program it and it takes care of the rest.

dfk41 I would say yes it’s definitely a commercial sector grinder, I think the most appealing part is counter space/offering. Typically when we’re speaking with customers about equipment they want to be able to offer multiple coffees, or at least a decaf as an alternative, but there isn’t enough volume to justify buying an entirely seperate grinder for the few decaf drinks they serve, OR counter space can be an issue with smaller spaces.

This grinder would relieve all of that, plus give cafes an option to serve filter by the cup/batch brew & ground coffee by the bag all in one unit. Could be a game changer!
